Nested in the heart of Park Circle, our clients were wrapping up an extensive interior renovation and were ready to add curb appeal to their historic home on Buist Avenue. They needed a design that would incorporate the mature landscaping, account for the home’s placement below street level, and seamlessly blend the old with the new. 

 

Brick pillars, a stone walkway, and a retaining wall addresses the low lying lot and blends with the home’s traditional design. Our plant selections helped the home’s addition blend in, highlighted the property’s gorgeous trees, and provided some privacy.

 

Incorporating hardscaped elements and carefully chosen plantings address the challenging elevation of the home while emphasizing its historic charm. The end result is a timeless and charming foundation for the owners’ future renovations.
