ISLAND COURTYARD

Our Seabrook clients needed a creative approach to space planning to make their driveway-adjacent outdoor space into an area with room to relax for the owners and room to play for their two Golden Retrievers.

Since the clients are building another home, we created a design that would add to the value of the home and still allow the owners to take most elements with them when they sell. Installing a hardscaped walkway makes the space feel like a destination and turf grass creates a low maintenance dog area.

The clients’ love of container gardening inspired us to create and install the living wall, which can be moved to their future home.

We worked with the limitations created by the elevated façade and installed statement lighting, understated décor, and shade tolerant plants. The result is a space with a courtyard-like feel perfect for the owners and their furry friends.
